Basement Tanking - RTS Southern, Chichester, West Sussex

Delta Membrane System
Waterproofing basement and cellar areas so as to be able to convert what can be described as storage space into a habitable
accommodation is becoming increasingly popular.
What was once a dark, damp and mouldy area, can be transformed into a warm and usable living room(s). This would prove to be prudently
cost effective as opposed to the alternative choice of moving home, because of the lack of existing space. R.T.S. (Remedial Treatment Services) have been successfully waterproofing buildings for almost twenty years, applying methods (which would vary according to the situation) incorporating tanking slurry, two part epoxy resin or cavity drain membrane systems.
All works carry our own personal company guarantee which can also be enforced by a manufacturers guarantee (Antel Eclipse UK Ltd - 02392 856110)

Blocked cavity areas are more common with older properties where debris caused from brick dust and mortar droppings from when originally constructed, fall down into the cavity.
These blocked cavity areas are preventing adequate air flow to sub floor timbers, creating the correct conditions for wet/dry rot outbreaks and also bridges the damp proof course therefore allowing moisture to enter the property.
The pictures below explain how much debris can build up and also how to have them cleared.
